Dr. Willa Schaeffer

DVM

Dr. Willa Schaeffer grew up just outside a small town in Northwest Missouri, where she attended K-12 in the same building. After completing high school in 2002, she attended Truman State University where she earned a degree in Agricultural Science in 2006. After receiving a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Missouri in 2010, she stayed at the university to complete a food animal internship, a production medicine residency, earn a Master of Public Health Degree, and become board certified in preventive medicine. Since leaving the university, she has worked at an advanced reproductive technologies center and a couple of mixed animal practices prior to joining the great team at Plattsburg Animal Clinic.

Dr. Amanda Beall

DVM

Dr. Amanda Beall was raised in Cameron, MO, earned her bachelor’s degree in Biology, minor in Animal Science at Iowa State University, and earned a master’s degree in Agriculture at Northwest Missouri State University. Dr. Amanda went to vet school at the University of Missouri-Columbia and gradated with her doctorate in 2017. After graduation, she worked at the Maysville Vet Clinic for 3.5 years. She has been at the Plattsburg Animal Clinic since January 2021. In her spare time, Dr. Amanda loves to ride her motorcycle, ATV, or rollercoasters. She currently has 2 dogs, Blue and Ansa, and her favorite animal (to work on and be around) are cows.
